Data we process

We process the personal data you choose to give us in two ways: by writing to us directly by email, or by completing the contact form on this website. The data collected is: your name, your company, your email address, your phone number (if you decide to provide it) and the content of your message (relating to the transaction or asset you would like us to assess).

Important note: At this initial stage of contact you must not provide special categories of data or particularly sensitive information (such as data relating to health, ideology, or confidential financial data). If such information is required for the subsequent provision of the service, it will be requested through secure channels under the corresponding contract.

Purpose and legal basis

We process the personal data provided through our contact form solely to handle and respond to your enquiry, and to maintain the professional or commercial relationship that may follow from it.

The legal basis for this processing is your express consent, which is clearly requested before the form is sent and of which a technical record is kept in our system. In addition, where your enquiry relates to a request for quotes, services or detailed commercial information, the processing will be based on the performance of pre-contractual steps at your request.

Audience measurement

This website uses a cookie-free analytics tool (Vercel Web Analytics) that records visits in aggregate: page viewed, country, device type and browser. It sets no cookies or persistent identifiers and does not allow any visitor to be identified.

Retention

We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected:

Informational enquiries: requests that do not lead to the engagement of services or to a subsequent professional relationship will be deleted from our email systems within a maximum of twelve (12) months from the last communication.

Professional relationship: if the enquiry leads to a commercial or professional relationship, the data will be kept for as long as that relationship lasts. Once it has ended, the data will be kept blocked for the periods required by applicable law (tax, commercial, and civil or professional liability) in order to deal with any claims.

Recipients and transfers

We do not share your data with third parties except where legally required. Our technology providers (web hosting, email platform and technical support) act solely as processors under contract. As we use providers based in the United States, your data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA). These transfers are made under appropriate safeguards, such as those entities’ participation in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the signing of Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to capana@capanaglobal.com. If you reside in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of your country.

Applicable law

This policy is governed by the data protection legislation of the United Arab Emirates and respects the standards applicable according to the origin of the users visiting the website.
